Pope Francis nakulong sa elevator ng halos kalahating oras
Sa bibihirang pagkakataon, nahuli ng pagdating si Pope Francis sa kanyang regular Sunday Angelus sa St. Peter’s Square.
Ito ay matapos makulong ang Santo Papa ng 25 minuto sa loob ng elevator dahil sa electrical power problem.
Natatawang ikwinento ni Pope Francis sa libu-libong pilgrims ang kanyang karanasan kasabay ng paghingi nito ng paumanhin dahil 10 minutong late ang kanyang weekly address.
Pinasalamatan ng lider ng Simbahang Katolika ang Fire Brigade na tumulong upang makaalis siya sa elevator.
“I must apologize for the delay, but there was an incident: I was locked in the elevator for 25 minutes! There was a drop in voltage and the elevator stopped. Thank God the Fire Brigade came – thank you so much! – and after 25 minutes of work they managed to get it to go. Let’s hear it for the Fire Brigade,” ayon kay Pope Francis.
