Simula sa Lunes, January 4, 2016, may bago nang hepe ang Land Transportation Office o LTO.
Papalitan si LTO Chief Alfonso Tan, Jr. ni Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board Executive Director Robert Cabrera.
Si Tan ay nagbitiw sa kalagitnaan ng Disyembre dahil umano sa “job pressure.”
Kinumpirma din ni Transportation Secretary Jun Abaya ang pagbibitiw ni Tan sa harap ng kontrobersiya sa plaka at lisensya ng LTO.
Gayunman, nilinaw ni Secretary Abaya na hindi totoong sinabak si Tan kundi boluntaryong nagbitiw sa puwesto.
