PDEA dismayado sa paglaya ng umanoy Chinese drug lords

Mariing tinutulan ng Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) ang paglaya ng mga Chinese na convicted sa kasong may kinalaman sa droga.

Kaya ganoon na lamang ang pagka-dismaya ng PDEA na pinalaya na ang mga Chinese convicts sa kasong drug trafficking.

Ayon kay PDEA Director General Aaron Aquino, life imprisonment ang hatol kina Wu Hing Sum, Kin San Ho at Pang Ho y Wai.

Ang tatlo ay convicted sa kasong paglabag sa Dangerous Drugs Act.

Habang ang mga convict na sina Chan Chit Yue at Ching Che ay pinalaya rin nang hindi anya nakonsulta ang PDEA.

Ayon pa kay Aquino, hindi nasunod ang proseso ng pagpapalaya sa mga Chinese convicts.

Binanggit nito ang liham ng ahensya noong February 13, 2019 kay Atty. Ronalyn Gonzaga, chief parole officer ng Board of Pardons and Parole, kung saan tinutulan nila ang posibleng pagbibigay ng executive clemency sa naturang mga convicts dahil sa tindi ng ginawa nilang krimen.

Giit ni Aquino, kwestyunable ang pagpapalaya sa umanoy mga Chinese drug lords.
