Joint Committee na magre-review sa GCTA nagsimula nang magpulong
Nagsimula nang mag-convene ngayong araw ang DOJ-DILG Joint Committee na naatasang i-review ang implementing rules and regulations at uniform policy and guidelines ng Good Conduct Time Allowance.
Ayon kay DOJ spokesperson, Usec. Markk Perete ang unang pulong ng komite ay pinamunuan ni DOJ Undersecretary Deo Marco.
Dumalo sa unang araw ng pulong si BuCor Director General Faeldon, iba pang opisyal ng BuCor, Board of Jail Management and Penology, Board of Pardons and Parole, Parole and Probation Administration, at iba pa.
Mayroong hanggang September 12, 2019 ang komite para isumite ang kanilang rekomendasyon kina Justice Secretaries Menardo Guevarra at Eduardo Año.
Layon ng gagawing joint review na malaman kung may mga hindi pagkakatugma sa pagitan ng IRR at sa isinasaad ng Republic Act (RA) No. 10592.
