No homework policy pinaburan ng isang obispo

Pabor ang isang opisyal ng Simbahang Katolika sa panukalang ipagbawal ang homework para sa mga mag-aaral sa kindergarten hanggang high school.

Ayon kay Bishop Roberto Mallari, chairman ng Episcopal Commission on Catechesis and Catholic Education, mahalagang magkaroon ng quality time ang mga estudyante kasama ang kanilang pamilya.

Dapat ani Mallari magkaroon ng academic at non-academic program schedules ang mga paaralan upang hindi maapektuhan ang family time ng mga bata.

Mahalaga aniyang mabalanse ang academic at family life ng mag-aaral.

“Academic life is necessary to propel success and a good future for young people. But there are certain limits that school dynamics needs to understand and widely consider,” Ayon kay Mallari.

Dagdag pa ni Mallari, sagrado ang family life kaya mahalaga ang pagkakaroon ng oras para sa pag-uusap, paglalaro, pagdiriwang ng mga importanteng okasyon, at pagsisimba ng sama-sama.
