Mahigit 200 kilo ng meat products sinunog sa GenSan
Sinunog ang higit dalawang daang kilo ng iba’t ibang uri ng karne sa General Santos International Airport, Miyerkules ng gabi.
Ito ay dahil sa pangamba sa African Swine Fever (ASF) sa Luzon.
Sa panayam ng Inquirer, sinabi ni Myrna Habacon, director ng National Meat Inspection Service – Region 12 na nasa dalawang daan animnapung meat products na nakasilid sa kahon na may Chinese characters ang naharang at sinunog sa paliparan.
Nagmula aniya ang meat product sa Maynila.
Paliwanag ni Habacon, sinunog ang mga karte para maiwasan ang pagpasok ng anumang uri ng sakit ng hayop sa rehiyon.
