Paglalagay ng neutral desk sa mga eskwelahan, batas na
Nilagdaan na ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang bagong batas na mag aatas sa lahat ng eskwelahan sa buong bansa na maglagay ng neutral desk.
Ito ay para matugunan ang mga left handed o mga kaliwite na mga estudyante.
Base sa Republic Act 11394 o Mandatory Provision of Neutral Desks in Education Institutions Act na nilagdaan noong August 22, inoobliga na ang lahat ng educational institutions mapa pribado o pampubliko man na maglagay ng armchair na magsisilbing neutral desk para sa mga left o right handed na estudyante.
Nakasaad sa batas na dapat na magkaroon ng neutral desk ng 10 percent ng kabuuang populasyon ng estudyante ng isang eskwelahan at sa susunod na mga taon ay dapat na madaagdagan pa ito.
Inuutos rin ng batas sa Department of Education, Commission on Higher Education, at Technical Education and Skills Development Authority o TESDA ang pagtukoy ng regulasyon kabilang ang administrative penalties o multa sa mga hindi susunod.
