21 na mga opisyal at empleyado ng Philhealth sinampahan na ng kaso sa DOJ
Nagsampa na ng kasong kriminal ang National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) sa Department of Justice (DOJ) laban sa 21 opisyal at empleyado ng Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), araw ng Miyerkules, Aug. 28.
Ito ay kaugnay sa maanomalyang mga claims sa dialysis ng mga pasyente ng Wellmed Dialysis Center.
Ang kaso isinampa ng NBI ay ang paglabag sa Section 3 ng Republic Act 3019 o Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act, Republic act 10606 o National Health Insurance Act of 2013 at Republic Act 6713 o Code of conduct and ethical standards for Public Officials and Employees.
Ayon kay NBI Director Dante Gierran ang kasong kanilang isinampa laban sa 21 na mga opisyal at empleyado ng Philhealth as base sa resulta ng ginawa nilang imbestigasyon ng NBI anti-graft division.
Si Dr. Lolita V. Tuliao, una sa listahan ng NBI na kinasuhan, dahil bilang Branch Manager ng Philhealth na siya umanong responsable sa pag apruba ng accreditation ng Wellmed Dialysis Center noong 2019.
Kasama rin sa mga kinasuhan ang mga miyembro ng Accreditation Sub Committee ng Philhealth Regional Office National Capital Region
Sabi ni Gierran, wala rin umanong isinagawang periodic monitoring ang Philhealth Regional Office ng NCR sa mga health care institution
