Itinalaga ni Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea si Senior Deputy Executive Secretary Michael Ong bilang acting Executive Secretary mula August 28 hanggang September 1.
Ito ay dahil sa kasama si Medialdea ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa China para sa nakatakdang bilateral talks kay Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Base sa Special Order 915 na nilagdaan ni Medialdea ngayong araw, pangangasiwaan ni Ong ang pang araw -araw na gawain ng Office of the President.
Inaatasan ang lahat ng departamento, ahensya at iba pang tanggapan ng pamahalaan na tulungan ang acting executive secretary para masiguro na magiging maayos ang pagbibigay serbisyo publiko.
