Duterte: Hindi pagsama sa Hacienda Luisita sa land reform ‘malaking iregularidad’
Pinakamalaking iregularidad ng land reform program ang hindi pagsama sa Hacienda Luisita na pagmamay-ari ng pamilya Aquino ayon kay Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
Sa talumpati sa ika-31 anibersaryo ng Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP) sa Quezon City, Martes ng gabi, tinawag ni Dutetre na “greatest aberration” ang hindi pagsama sa land reform ng land property ng mga Aquino.
Pero nilinaw ng pangulo na wala siyang anumang sama ng loob sa pamilya Aquino partikular kina dating Pangulong Corazon Aquino at Noynoy Aquino.
“I have nothing against the Aquino family — the two presidents and even their family,” ani Dutetre.
Ayon pa sa pangulo, sinuportahan ng kanyang pamilya si Cory sa termino nito bilang presidente nang mapatalsik ang yumaong diktador at dating Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos.
Naniwala anya ang kanyang pamilya na si Cory ang pinakamahusay na maaaring mamuno sa bansa noon para palitan si Marcos.
“I’d like to put it on record that, for the first two Aquino presidents, our family in Davao supported them because we believed in Corazon Aquino and I happen also to just… [she was] the best that was available at that time,” giit pa ng pangulo.
Pero binatikos ng pangulo ang hindi pagsali sa Hacienda Luisita sa land reform na nagdulot umano ng pagdanak ng dugo matapos masawi ang pitong magsasaka noong 2004.
“Tinanggal nila ang Doña Luisita… Far and in between the years that it was fighting, I mean the tenants, marami ho ang namatay their blood, just to realize until late today, ‘yung mga lupa na dapat sa kanila,” ayon sa pangulo.
Ang land reform ay ang sentro ng social legislative agenda ng administrasyon ni Cory Aquino.
Kahapon, sinabi ni Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Secretary John Castriciones na kasama sa na ipinamahagi sa mga land reform beneficiaries ang natitirang 112 ektarya ng Hacienda Luisita.
