DOJ itinangging may release order na si Sanchez

Itinanggi ng Department of Justice (DOJ) ang pahayag ng convicted rapist at murderer na si dating Calauan, Laguna Mayor Antonio Sanchez na may release order na ito.

Ayon kay Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra, walang release order na inilabas para sa dating alkalde.

Paglilinaw ito ng ahensya kasunod ng sinabi umano ni Sanchez na naglabas na ang Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) ng kanyang release order.

Dagdag ni Guevarra, itinanggi ni BuCor chief Nicanor Faeldon na pinirmahan na niya ang release order ni Sanchez.

“I have been informed that BuCor Chief (Nicanor) Faeldon denies having signed a release order for Sanchez. No report on such matter has been received by the DOJ,” ani Guevarra.

Ginawa ng kalihim ang pahayag dahil ang BuCor ay attached agency ng DOJ.

Una rito ay sinabi ni Sanchez sa isang panayam na pirmado na ang kanyang release order.

Ayon pa sa dating alkalde, hindi na siya kasama sa rasyon ng pagkain sa New Bilibid Prison (NBP).

Giit pa ni Sanchez, kabilang siya sa batch ng inmates na makikinabang sa batas ukol sa good conduct.
