Robredo no show sa pagdinig para sa budget ng OVP
Kaagad tinapos ng House Committee on Appropriations ang pondong hinihingi ng Office of the Vice President (OVP) para sa susunod na taon.
Ito ay kahit pa hindi nakadalo sa naturang pagdinig si Vice President Leni Robredo, na ikinatawan na lamang ng kanyang Chief of Staff na si Usec. Philip Dy.
Ang OVP ay may 2020 proposed budget na higit P673 million, bahagyang mas mataas kumpara sa P671 million na pondo ngayong 2019.
Sa inaprubahang budget, P99 million dito ang alokasyon para sa Personal Services, habang P552 million ang inilaan para sa Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses (MOOE).
Samantala, P12.1 million naman ang budget allocation ng OVP para sa Capital Outlay kabilang na ang pagbili ng walong bagong sasakyan at iba pang kagamitan.
Ang natitirang P8 million naman ay para sa Retirement and Life Insurance Premiums.
