Hiling ng Malakanyang sa DOJ ihinto muna ang proseso sa posibleng paglaya ni Sanchez – Guevarra
Sinabi ng Department of Justice (DOJ) na hiniling ng Malakanyang na i-hold muna ang posibleng pagpapalaya kay dating Calauan Mayor Antonio Sanchez.
Ito ay habang isinasailalim sa masusing imbestigasyon ang usapin sa kaniyang paglaya.
Inihayag ito ni Justice Sec. Menardo Guevarra matapos sabihin ni Sen. Bong Go na hiniling ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa DOJ at sa Bureau of Corrections na huwag palayain si Sanchez.
Ayon kay Guevarra ang request na natanggap niya mula sa Malakanyang ay ang itigil pansamantala ang pagproseso sa kaso ni Sanchez.
“The request that I received from Malacañang was to hold the processing of Mayor Sanchez’s case until all the factual and legal issues have been fully threshed out,” ani Guevarra.
