Ravena, Blatche, pangungunahan ang Gilas-line up para sa FIBA World Cup
Inanunsyo na ng Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) araw ng Linggo ang final 12-man lineup ng Gilas Pilipinas para sa 2019 FIBA World Cup sa China.
Inilabas ang line-up matapos ang pagkatalo ng Gilas sa Adelaide 36ers sa kanilang ikalawang tune-up game sa Meralco Gym sa iskor na 85-75.
Ang roster ay binubuo nina Robert Bolick, CJ Perez, Andray Blatche, June Mar Fajardo, Paul Lee, Japeth Aguilar, Gabe Norwood, Kiefer Ravena, Raymond Almazan, Mark Barroca, Troy Rosario, at Roger Pogoy.
Sa isang statement sinabi ni SBP president Al Panlilio na sisikapin ng 12 manlalaro na mairepresenta ang 100 milyong Filipino at maipakita sa world stage ang uri ng basketball ng Pilipinas.
“This is your Gilas Pilipinas and they’ll do their best to represent the 100 million Filipinos and promote the Philippine brand of basketball on the world stage,” ani Panlilio.
