Bureau of Customs personnel nadale ng food poisoning

Nasa halos 40 police trainees ng Bureau of Customs ang naospital dahil sa food poisoning.

Ayon kay BOC Assistant Commissioner Philip Maronilla nagpakita ng sintomas ang mga trainees isang oras matapos kumain ng almusal.

Hinihinalang ang beef ampalaya at ang bottled water na binili sa labas ng BOC ang sanhi ng food poisoning.

Nabatid na nasa 87 trainees ang isinugod sa Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Center pero nasa 38 lamang ang nakitaan ng sintomas ng food poisoning.

Samantala, nakalabas na ng ospital ang mga pasyente maliban sa dalawa na nanatili sa pagamutan.

Nagsasagawa na ng imbestigasyon ang BOC kaugnay ng pangyayari.

Nasa mahigit 115 na customs police ang kinuha ng kawanihan at isinailalim sa 3-month training ang nasa 90 mga bagong customs police at water patrol personnel.
