Pumanaw na sa edad na 65 si dating Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Gina Lopez.

Si Lopez ay pumanaw matapos ang pakikipaglaban sa sakit na brain cancer.

Noong Sabado ay napaulat nang pumanaw si Lopez.

Pero itinanggi ito ng ABS-CBN Foundation.

Ngayong Lunes (Aug. 19) ng umaga ay kinumpirma ng foundation ang pagpanaw ni Lopez.

Si Lopez ang itinuturing na ina ng ABS-CBN Foundation.
