Pamamahala sa Clark International Airport inilipat na sa pribadong sektor

Inilipat na sa Luzon International Premier Airport Development (Lipad) Corp. ang pamamalakad sa Clark International Airpot sa Pampanga simula araw ng biyernes, August 16.

Ayon kay Lipad President Bi Yong Chungunco, ang Lipad ang mamahala sa naturang paliparan ng 25 taon.

Sa bagong pamunuan, magbubukas ng panibagong mga kainan at nakikipagdayalogo na rin sila sa mga airline companies na isama na sa presyo ng tiket ang terminal fees.

Ang Lipad Corp. ay isang venture na pinamumunuan ng Conglomerates Companies na JG Summit Holdings at Filinvest Development Corp. kasama ang isang unit ng Changi Airport sa bansang Singapore.

Pamamahalaan naman ng Lipad ang mga passenger terminal sa Clark Airport at inaasahan na ililipat na rin sa Lipad ang isang bagong terminal sa kalagitnaan ng 2020.
