Inatasan ni Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Macairog S. Alberto ang lahat ng Army personnel na hindi kabilang sa combat operations na makiisa sa bloodletting activities.
May kahalintulad na aktibidad ring gagawin sa iba pang Philippine Army Infantry divisions sa buong bansa.
Sa Fort Bonifacio, aabot sa 270 na mga sundalo ang nag-volunteer upang mag-donate ng dugo.
Ang mga donasyong dugo ay gagamitin para sa mga pasyente ng dengue.
