Siyam sa sampung Pilipino ang haharapin ang darating na Bagong Taon nang may ‘hope’ o pag-asa, batay sa latest survey ng Pulse Asia.
Ang Ulat sa Bayan survey ng Pulse Asia ay ginawa noong December 4 hanggang 11, 2015, kung saan tinanong sa 1800 respondents ang ‘Will you face the coming year with/maybe with o without/without hope?’
89 percent ng mga respondent ang nagsabi na sasalubungin nila ang 2016 ‘with hope;’ 11 percent naman ang sumagot na haharapin nila ang New Year ‘with or without hope;’ habang isang porsyento lamang ang ‘without hope.’
Lumabas din sa Pulse Asia survey na mas maraming respondents mula sa National Capital Region o NCR o 95 percent ang haharap sa 2016 nang may ‘hope.’
Naitala naman ang 89 percent sa hanay ng Luzon respondents; 86 percent sa Visayas; at 88 percent sa Mindanao; samantalang 2 percent lamang ng respondents sa Visayas ay sasalubong sa 2016 nang walang pag-asa.
Sa income classes, ang mga nasa Classes A, B, at C ang may mas pag-asa sa 92 percent; kumpara sa Class D, 89 percent at Class E, 86 percent.
