DFA ibinawal ang pagpasok ng marine survey ships sa karagatan ng bansa

Ipinagbawal na ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) ang pagpasok ng mga marine survey ship sa karagatang sakop ng Pilipinas.

Sa Twitter, inanunsiyo ni Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. ang nais na hakbang matapos sabihin ni Presidential spokesman Salvador Panelo na walang problema sa paghingi ng tulong sa Estados Unidos para matutukan ang exclusive economic zone (EEZ) ng bansa.

Pasok din aniya rito ang France, Japan at maging ang China.

Paliwanag ng kalihim, kailangan na ang lahat ng marine survey ships ang ipagbawal dahil kung mayroong exception ay maaaring magkaroon ng duda at isiping may “favoritism.”

Matatandaang napaulat ang pagdaan ng ilang Chinese survey ships sa bahagi ng Sibutu Strait sa Tawi-Tawi noong nakaraang linggo.
