Mga Pinoy sa Israel posibleng ma-deport pabalik sa bansa ayon sa Malacanang

Tiniyak ng Malacanang na hindi pababayaan ng pamahalaan ang daan-daang pamilyang Filipino na nanganganib na ipa-deport mula sa Israel.

Ayon kay presidential spokesman Salvador Panelo, may ginagawa nang hakbang si Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. kaugnay sa nasabing usapin.

Tinatayang aabot sa 28,000 na Filipinos ang nagtatrabaho sa Israel bilang caregivers at domestic helpers pero ayon sa ulat ng United Children of Israel Association nasa animnaraang pamilya ang maaring ipadeport dahil sa kawalan ng residency status.

Ayon kay panelo, naging polisiya na ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na pangalagaan ang mga Filipino na nagtatrabaho sa ibang bansa.
