Nag-abiso ang Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) na sarado ang lahat ng kanilang consular offices sa buong bansa sa araw ng Lunes, August 12.
Sa inilabas na anunsiyo, sinabi ng kagawaran na ito ay kasunod ng pagdedeklara sa August 12 bilang regular holiday para sa selebrasyon ng Eid’l Adha o Feast of Sacrifice.
Wala rin anilang passport o authentication service sa nasabing araw.
Ang mga nakatakdang passport at authenticated document appointment ng mga aplikante sa nasabing araw ay ipoproseso sa August 13.
Pinirmahan ang Proclamation No. 789 ni Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea para sa nasabing holiday.
