Nasunog ang 29 na bahay ng isang komunidad ng mga informal settlers sa Davao City kahapon, August 3.
Ayon sa Davao City Bureau of Fire Protection, nag-umpisa ang sunog sa 8A village bandang alas 2:00 ng hapon.
Sa ulat naman na inilabas ng mga imbestigador, sa bahay ng isang Ricky Lumbadan nag-simula ang apoy dahil sa nag-overheat na television set.
Tumagal ang sunog ng halos dalawang oras at idineklarang fire out ng alas 4:06 ng hapon.
Kasalukyang nasa evacuation center ng village ang 32 pamilyang naapektuhan.
Walang naitalang nasugatan o nasawi sa naturang insidente.
