4 tonelada ng cocaine nasabat sa Germany

Nasabat ng customs officials sa Germany ang sinasabing pinakamalaking shipment ng cocaine sa kasaysayan ng kanilang bansa.

Aabot sa apat na tonelada ng cocaine ang naharang sa port of Hamburg.

Galing umano ang drug shipment sa Montevideo, Uruguay at nakatakda sanang dalhin sa Antwerp, Belgium.

Ayon sa Hamburg customs officials, idineklarang soya beans ang mga droga at itinago sa higit 200 itim na sports bags sa loob ng shipping container.

May street value na 1 billion euros ang halaga ng drug shipment.

Sinira na ang mga droga at kasalukuyang iniimbestigahan ng Hamburg prosecutor’s office ang pagdadalhan ng shipment.

Ayon sa German officials, ang pagkakadiskubre sa napakalaking bulto ng cocaine ay sumasalamin sa kanilang mas gumagaling na abilidad para pigilan ang international drug smuggling.

Gayunman, nagbabala rin ang mga opisyal na ang laki ng shipment na kanilang naharang ay patunay na lumalakas din ang South American drugs cartels.
