Duterte: Mga lalawigan hindi umuunlad dahil sa NPA
Binanatan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang New People’s Army (NPA) at sinabing ito ang dahilan kung bakit hindi umuunlad ang mga kanayunan.
Sa talumpati sa pamamahagi ng land titles sa agrarian reform beneficiaries sa Davao City, Biyernes ng gabi, sinabi ng pangulo na hindi umuunlad ang mga probinsya dahil napamumugaran ang mga ito ng NPA na anya’y ‘parasites’.
“Sabi ko, look, the reason why we cannot develop fully is the countryside are — the countryside is infested with parasite like you. You do not work, you exact taxation,” ayon sa pangulo.
Iginiit ng pangulo na hinaharang ng presensya ng rebeldeng grupo ang development projects sa mga lalawigan.
Inihalintulad pa ni Duterte ang NPA sa Islamic State dahil sa bulok na ideolohiya ng mga ito at walang ginawa kundi pumatay.
“With the communist theories and your ideologies which is rotten already — it is a corrupt just like the ISIS you fight, you, kill,” giit ng presidente.
Muling binatikos ng presidente ang umano’y kaugnayan ng NPA sa pagpatay sa apat na pulis sa Ayungon, Negros Oriental.
Sinabi ng pangulo na sa ngayon ay lumampas na sa hangganan ang mga rebeldeng komunista.
“You know, what you did in Negros, it did — is not just fighting. The danger there is you are now implementing the commune system of the discredited communist party strategy. I’d like to say to the communists, you have crossed the red line,” dagdag ni Duterte.
Una rito, itinaas na ni Duterte sa P5 milyon ang pabuya para sa sinumang makapagbibigay ng impormasyon sa mga suspek sa pananambang sa mga pulis na pinaniniwalaan niyang mga miyembro ng NPA.
