Pinangunahan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang paglulunsad ng web-based employment platform na 911 Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).
Layon ng 911 TESDA employment app na maikonekta ang mga tao sa mga serbisyo ng TESDA.
Ang application ay inisyal na magiging available sa National Capital Region (NCR), Bulacan, Palayan City sa Nueva Ecija, Batangas, Rizal, Cavite at Laguna.
Pero plano ng TESDA na maging available rin ito sa iba pang bahagi ng bansa.
Kailangang accredited ang mga TESDA graduates ng digital online service providers para makasama sila sa programa.
“This initiative is just one of the innovative solutions that will bring technical vocational education and training (TVET) graduates closer to the local labor market,” pahayag ni Duterte sa kanyang talumpati sa paglulunsad ng programa sa TESDA Complex sa Taguig City Martes ng gabi.
“I am confident that this program will significantly contribute to our efforts to provide livelihood opportunities that will enable our people to make a decent living in the process, empower them to contribute to our overall growth as a nation,” dagdag ng Pangulo.
Ayon pa sa Pangulo, ang web-based project ay responsive sa demand ng kalidad sa serbisyo ng kabahayan, komunidad at mga negosyo.
Umaasa si Duterte na sa pamamagitan ng 911 TESDA employment app ay magiging madali ang pagkuha ng empleyado at maisusulong ang madaling pagnenegosyo o ang ease of doing business sa bansa.
Hinikayat din ng Pangulo ang mga rebeldeng komunista na maging bahagi ng TESDA program.
