BREAKING: Operasyon ng Lotto ibinalik na pero iba pang PCSO games suspendido pa rin
Inutos ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte Martes ng gabi ang pagtanggal sa suspensyon ng operasyon ng Lotto ng Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo, epektibo na agad ang pagbabalik ng Lotto operations.
“As per the advice of Executive Secretary Salvador C. Medialdea, the suspension of Lotto operations has been ordered lifted by the President,” ani Panelo.
Pero sinabi rin ni Panelo na ang operasyon lamang ng Lotto ang ibinalik.
Ang operasyon anya ng iba pang PCSO games gaya ng small town lottery (STL), Keno at Peryahan ng Bayan ay nananatiling suspendido.
“The rest of all gaming operations with franchises, licenses or permits granted by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), such as Small-Town Lottery (STL), Keno and Peryahan ng Bayan (PNB), shall remain suspended pending the investigation of illegal activities and corrupt practices related thereto until the Office of the President evaluates the results of said probe,” dagdag ni Panelo.
Ayon sa Kalihim, pwede nang mag-resume o ituloy ng franchise holders at operators ng Lotto ang kanilang operasyon.
“Franchise holders and operators of Lotto outlets may now resume with their operations. The lifting of the suspension of Lotto operations takes effect immediately,” ayon sa opisyal.
Sinabi naman ni Medialdea na walang nakita ang mga imbestigador na anomalya sa Lotto at nasunod ang tamang alituntunin sa operasyon nito.
“Investigators found no anomalies in the conduct of its operation, its sanctity remained untainted and proper regulatory rules followed,” ani Medialdea.
Noong Biyernes July 26 nang ipatigil ng Pangulo ang operasyon ng lahat ng PCSO games kabilang ang Lotto dahil umano sa malawakang kurapsyon sa ahensya.
Iniimbestigahan na ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) ang umanoy katiwalian sa PCSO.
