NBI nagbigay ng sariling taning sa PCSO investigation
Sinisikap ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) na tapusin ang imbestigasyon sa diumano’y katiwalian sa loob ng Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office o PCSO bago matapos ang taon.
Ayon kay NBI Director Dante Gierran, bubuo sila ng dalawang investigating team na sisiyasat sa sinasabing malakihang korupsyon sa ahensya.
Bukod sa PCSO, iimbestigan din ng NBI ang sinasabing katiwalian sa loob ng Bureua of Customs.
Itinalaga naman ni Gierran si NBI deputy director Atty. Antonio Pagatgat na pangunahan ang pagsusuri sa dalawang ahensya.
Magiging mabubusi aniya ang pagsisiyasat ng NBI sa naturng isyu pa maging matibay ang mga ebidensya.
Matatandaan na ipinag-utos ni Justice Sec. Menardo Guevarra ang imbesyigasyon sa NBI matapos ipag-utos ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na ipasara ang lahat ng lotto outlets sa bansa.
