Kasunod ng pagsisimula ng ibinigay na 60 na araw para linisin ang mga lansangan, nagbigay ng balala si DILG Sec. Eduardo Año sa mga alkalde sa Metro Manila.

Ayon sa kalihim, maaring patawan ng kagawaran ng dalawa hanggang anim na buwang suspensyon ang mga alkalde na hindi susunod sa kautusan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
