Vice Presidential Electoral Protest sa Korte Suprema, mababalewala lang ayon sa isang political analyst

Naniniwala ang isang kilalang political analyst na mababalewala lamang ang Vice Presidential Election Protest sa pagitan nina Vice President Leni Robredo at dating Senator Bongbong Marcos nakabinbin ngayon sa Korte Suprema, tumatayong Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET).

Sa lingguhang forum na Tapatan, sinabi ni Ramon Casiple na iho-hold ang due process hanggang sa maging moot and academic ang kaso.

Ayon kay Casiple, tatlong probinsya lamang ang pinag-uusapan ngayon na subject ng electoral protest noong May 2016 ngunit hanggang ngayon ay wala pang malinaw na resolusyon ang mga mahistrado, gayong 21 pang lalawigan ang kino-contest na resulta.

Naniniwala rin si Casiple na tila umiiwas din ang mga mahistrado na masaktan ang isang litigant sakaling magpalabas ng hatol.

Binanggit ni Casiple ang mga nakaraang protesta sa PET gaya ng protesta noon ni dating senador miriam santiago laban kay dating pangulong FVR noong 1995, ang election protest ni dating senador Mar Roxas laban kay Vice President Jejomar Binay na walang kinahinatnan hanggang sa mainip ang mga litigant at muling kumandidato na nagiging dahilan upang maging moot and academic na lamang ang kanilang mga protesta.
