Higit 5,000 lotto outlets, nabigyan na ng closure notice – PNP
Nabigyan na ng closure notice ang mahigit-kumulang 5,000 na Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) lotto outlets, ayon sa Philippine National Police (PNP).
Ito ay kasunod ng kautusan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na paghinto ng lahat ng gaming operations ng PCSO dahil sa isyu ng korupsyon sa ahensya.
Sa tala ng PNP, nailabas ang closure notices sa 5,187 na lotto outlets maging sa 13,320 na small town lottery (STL); 2,195 na Peryahan ng Bayan (PNB) at 472 na KENO outlets.
Hinikayat naman ni PNP chief, Gen. Oscar Albayalde ang mga operator ng mga kaparehong establisimiyentong wala pang natatanggap na closure notice na boluntaryo nang magsara.
Matatandaang agad ding sinuspinde ng PCSo ang kanilang operasyon matapos ilabas ng pangulo ang nasabing kautusan.
