Truck driver, kinasuhan matapos mahulihan ng yakal lumber sa Nueva Ecija

Timbog ang isang truck driver dahil sa iligal na pagdadala ng kahoy na yakal sa Nueva Ecija noong Biyernes, July 26.

Nakilala ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) ang suspek na si Marvin Ortega, 35 anyos.

Nakuha kay Ortega ang 3,200 board feet ng yakal lumber na nagkakahalaga ng P194,000.

Naharang ang suspek sa Pulong Matong Village sa General Tinio bandang alas 4:30 ng umaga ng July 26.

Ayon kay Pedro Roque, NBI Cabanatuan District Office Chief, walang permit si Ortega na ibyahe ang mga naturang kahoy mula sa Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).

Sinampahan ang suspek ng paglabag sa forestry laws ng lalawigan sa Nueva Ecija Prosecutor’s Office.

Patuloy naman ang pagtukoy ng NBI kung saan nanggaling ang mga naturang kontrabando. /
