DFA tatanggap na ng postal ID para sa passport applications

Inanunsyo ng Department of Foreign Affairs kahapon, July 23 na simula sa Agosto ay tatanggap na sila ng Philippine Postal Corp. (PhlPost) o Postal IDs para sa passport applications.

Lumagda sa isang memorandum of agreement (MOA) noong July 8 sina Foreign Affairs Assistant Secretary for Consular Affairs Neil Frank Ferrer at Assistant Postmaster General Luis Carlo na naglalayong gawing valid ID para sa passport application ang Postal ID.

Ayon sa PhlPost, ang kasunduan ay nabuo matapos makalikha ng isang software application na makapagpapadali sa beripikasyon ng PhlPost-issued IDs.

Sa ngayon, ang tinatanggap na IDs para sa passport applications ay ang mga inilabas ng Social Security System, Government Service Insurance System, Professional Regulatory Commission at Overseas Workers Welfare Administration.

Tinatanggap din ang Unified Multi-Purpose ID, Land Transportation Office driver’s license, voter’s ID, firearms license, senior citizen ID, airman license at school ID.
