Gaya nang unang napagkasunduan, nakuha ng mga bagong Senador ang ilang mahalagang komite sa Senado.
Nahalal si Senator Bong Go na chairman ng committee on health habang si Senator Ronald dela Rosa ang bagong pinuno ng committee on public order and dangerous drugs.
Samantala ang isa pang neophyte Senator na si Imelda Marcos ang bagong chairman ng committee on economic affairs habang nahalal na chairman ng committee on local government si Senator Francis Tolentino.
