Pangulong Duterte, handang makulong dahil sa umano’y EKJs
Handa si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na makulong sakaling mapatunayan ang umano’y nagaganap na extrajudicial killings sa Pilipinas dahil sa kampanya kontra sa ilegal na droga ng administrasyon.
Sa kaniyang ikaapat na State of the Nation Address (SONA), inihayag ng pangulo sa kaniyang mga kritiko ang mga kondisyon sakaling makulong.
“Extrajudicial killings? Report to the ICC (International Criminal Court)? Go ahead. As long as I have a comfortable cell. “It should be heated during wintertime, installed with air-conditioning during the hot weather,” pahayag ni Duterte.
Maliban dito, sinabi pa ng pangulo na dapat walang limitasyon sa pagbisita sa kaniya.
Maraming bansa ang nagkokondena sa madugong war on drugs campaign ng administrasyon.
Matatandaang in-adopt ng United Nations Human Rights Counil (UNHRC) ang resolusyon ng Iceland para bumuo ng comprehensive report ukol sa sitwasyon ng karapatang pantao sa bansa.
