Tutulungan ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) ang Philippine National Police (PNP) sa pagbabantay sa gaganaping ika-apat na State of the Nation Address (SONA) ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa July 22.
Ayon sa Public Information Office of the Joint Task Force-National Capital Region, may mga nakatalaga na silang tauhan sa iba’t ibang lugar at susuportahan nila ang Presidential Security Group (PSG), National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO), at iba pang ahensyang magpapanatili sa katahimikan sa lugar.
Nakamonitor na rin anila ang mga magrarally sa darating na SONA at magbabantay upang mapanatili ang kapayapaan.
Inaasahan na nasa mahigit 8000 pulis ang papalabasin sa pagbabantay sa SONA ng pangulo.
Nasa 15,000 raliyista naman ang sinasabing makikilahok sa kilos-protesta sa harap ng Batasan Complex.
