Piloto sa India grounded dahil sa maling hijack alert

Sinuspinde ng India ang isang piloto na aksidenteng nagpadala ng hijack alert sa air traffic control sa biyahe noong nakaraang buwan.

Ang AirAsia India plane, na biyahe mula New Delhi papuntang Srinagar, ay nagkaproblema sa makina.

Sinabihan ng kapitan ang first officer na magpadala ng emergency code para maalerto ang mga otoridad ukol sa sitwasyon.

Pero imbes na ang tamang code na 7700, ang ipinadala ng piloto ay 7500 na code para sa hijacking.

Ang naturang code ay ikinukunsiderang major security alert sa buong mundo.

Ligtas namang nakalapag ang Airbus A320 sa syudad ng Chandigarh pero hinatulan ang piloto na guilty sa negligent conduct at 3 buwang suspendido.
