Duterte pinangunahan ang turnover ng pabahay para sa mga dating rebelde
Pinangunahan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang ceremonial turnover ng housing units para sa mga dating rebelde sa Tagum City, Davao del Norte, Martes ng gabi.
Ang housing project sa loob ng Freedom Residences subdivision ay pakikinabangan ng 375 pamilya ng dating mga miyembro ng New People’s Army at Militia ng Bayan.
Sa kanyang talumpati, ipinahayag ng presidente ang kasiyahan sa muling pakikiisa ng mga dating rebelde sa lipunan.
“I am glad to welcome these former rebels as they commence their reintegration to the society,” ayon sa pangulo.
Iginiit ni Duterte na ang rebelyon ay kadalasang nagaganap dahil sa kabiguan ng gobyerno na maibigay ang pangunahing serbisyo sa mga mamamayan lalo na sa malalayong lugar.
Tiniyak ng presidente ang paggawa ng mga hakbang na tutugon sa pangangailangan ng mga dating rebelde kabilang ang tulong pinansyal at pabahay.
Pinadodoble-kayod ni Duterte ang National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict, ang Task Force Balik-Loob, at ang kanilang local counterparts sa pagtugon sa problema ng rebelyon.
“I hope that today’s event will continue to encourage the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict, the Task Force Balik-Loob, and their local counterparts to work doubly hard in addressing the problems of insurgency so that our people can enjoy safer and more secure [communities],” ani Duterte,
Magugunitang binuo ng presidente ang national task force noong Disyembre sa pamamagitan ng Executive Order No. 70.
Layon ng task force ang epektibong pagpapatupad ng mga programa para matamo ang kapayapaan lalo na sa conflict-affected areas.
