Pirmado na ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte bilang bagong batas ang “Safe Space Bill” o Anti-Bastos Bill.
Sa ilalim ng Republic Act 11313, bawal na ang “catcalling” o pagsipol, panghihipo, mga homophobic, transphobic o misogynistic remarks o mga negatibo at sekswal na patutsada sa mga mga babae at maging miyembro LGBT community.
Layunin ng batas na labanan ang gender-based sexual harassment sa kalsada, public places, online, workplaces at educational at training institutions.
Nasa P100,000 ang multa at pagkakulong ng isang buwan ang ipapataw na parusa sa lalabag sa batas depende sa uri ng gender-based harassment.
April 17 pa nilagdaan ni Pangulong Duterte ang batas subalit araw ng Lunes lamang inilabas ng Malakanyang ang kopya.
