P12M halaga ng smuggled na bigas, nasamsam sa Basilan
Naharang ng Naval Forces Western Mindanao (NavForWeM) ang P12 milyong halaga ng bigas sa Basilan.
Ayon kay Rear Adm. Erick Kagaoan, commannder ng NavForWeM, nasamsam ang kontrabando sa isinagawang maritime security patrol ng Naval Task Force 61 sa bisinidad ng Lampinigan Island.
Nakuha ang nasa 10,000 libong sako ng smuggled na bigas sa M/V Indah Jehan.
Lumabas pa sa imbestigasyon na lulan ito ang 10 crew member mula sa Labuan, Sabah.
Wala aniyang importation documents ang mga kontrabando.
Dinala ang mga smuggled na bigas sa Bureau of Customs (BOC) para sa dokumentasyon.
