US magsasagawa ng deportation raids laban sa undocumented migrants
Kinumpirma ni US President Donald Trump na maglulungsad ang mga agents ng Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency sa buong bansa ngayong weekend para hulihin at ma-deport ang libo-libong undocumented migrants.
Ayon kay Trump, ilegal na dumating sa Amerika ang mga migrants kaya ibabalik na ang mga ito sa kanilang mga bansa.
Target anya ng ICE raid ang mga illegal migrants na may conviction kabilang ang mga miyembro ng gang.
“It starts on Sunday and they’re going to take people out and they’re going to bring them back to their countries. Or they’re going to take criminals out, put them in prison, or put them in prison in the countries they came from,” pahayag ni Trump sa mga mamamahayag sa White House.
Bagamat target ng operasyon ang mga kriminal na migrants, huhulin din ang mga tao na dumating sa US na hindi dumaan sa proseso.
Inaasahang isasagawa ang ICE raids sa 10 major cities sa Estados Unidos.
