Duterte, binuweltahan ang UNHRC dahil sa pagpabor na imbestigahan ang war on drugs ng gobyerno
Binuweltahan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang mga member-state ng United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) dahil sa pagpabor sa resolusyon ng Iceland na magsagawa ng imbestigasyon sa sitwasyon ng karapatang pantao sa Pilipinas.
Sa kaniyang talumpati sa selebrasyon ng ika-28 anibersaryo ng Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) sa Quezon City, sinabi ng pangulo na hindi naiintindihan ng mga bansang pumabor sa resolusyon ang mga social at political problem sa bansa.
“Itong mga ga*** ito, they don’t understand the social, political problems of the Philippines,” pahayag ni Duterte.
Sinabi pa ng pangulo na yelo lang ang tanging problema sa Iceland.
Dahil dito, hindi aniya maiintindihan ng bansang walang krimen at maging mga pulis ang sitwasyon sa Pilipinas.
“Hindi maintindihan ng mga put******** ‘to na may problema tayo. Iceland, ano ang problema ng Iceland? Ice lang. That’s your problem you have too much ice and there is no clear day or night there. So you can understand why there is no crime, there are no policemen, and they just go about eating ice,” ani Duterte.
Ito ang unang pagkakataon na nagbigay ng pahayag ang pangulo sa isyu isang araw matapos bumoto ang 18 bansa pabor sa resolusyon sa ika-41 sesyon ng UNHRC sa Geneva.
