Sa datos ng Phivolcs, namataan ang lindol sa 19 kilometers Southwest ng Makilala bandang 12:16 ng tanghali.
May lalim ang lindol na 18 kilometers at tectonic ang origin.
Dahil dito, naramdaman ang Intensity 2 sa Kidapawan City.
Ayon sa Phivolcs, ito ay aftershocks ng yumanig na 5.6 magnitude na lindol sa North Cotabato noong July 9.
