Sa gitna ng pagsusulong muli ng panukalang batas para gawing legal ang divorce sa bansa, sinabi ni Senator Koko Pimentel III na hindi dapat maging rason ang pag-ayaw na sa isa’t isa ng mag-asawa upang makapaghiwalay.
Para kay Pimentel, sagrado ang pamilya kaya dapat hanapan pa rin ng remedyo ang problema sa pagsasama ng mag-asawa.
