Malakanyang tinawag na malisyoso ang resolusyon ng UN human rights council; layon lang umanong ipahiya ang Pilipinas

Tinawag na malisyoso ng Malakanyang ang resolusyon ng United Nations Human Rights Council na naglalayong maimbestigahan ang war on drugs ng Duterte administration.

Ayon kay Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo, layunin ng naturang resolusyon na ipahiya ang Pilipinas sa international community.

Ani Panelo, tinututulan at kinokondena ng pamahalaan ang Iceland-led resolution na sinuportahan ng 17 pang mga bansa.

Sinabi ni Panelo na one-sided ang resolusyon at kawalan ng respeto sa soberanya ng bansa.

Maituturing din aniya itong “offensive” at “insulting” sa nakararaming mga Filipino na suportado ang leadership style ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.

Dagdag pa ni Panelo, hindi mapapahina o hindi masisindak ng naturang resolusyon ang Duterte presidency at ipagpapatuloy ang pagganap sa kaniyang constitutional duty na panilbihan at protektahan ang sambayanan.
