House exec: Walang namomonitor na banta sa ikaapat na SONA ni Duterte

Walang natatanggap na anumang banta sa seguridad ang House of Representatives kaugnay ng ikaapat na State of the Nation Address (SONA) ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa July 22.

Sa press briefing kahapon, araw ng Huwebes, sinabi ni House Sergeant at Arms Major General Romeo Prestoza na wala pang aktwal na banta sa seguridad at nakahanda naman anya silang tugunan ito.

Sa ngayon ay maganda umano ang kanilang pakikipag-ugnayan sa intelligence units ng Armed Forces kasama ang National Intelligence Coordinating Agency (NICA) para sa posibleng banta sa seguridad.

“We have a very good coordination with all the intelligence units ng Armed Forces including NICA relative sa possible threat. If ever, naka-prepare naman kami,” ani Pretoza.

Ayon sa opisyal, kasalukuyang sumasailalim sa masusing pagsasanay at mga seminar ang personnel ng House of Representatives kabilang ang ‘simulation and tabletop exercises’.

Samantala, ang paglalagay naman anya ng signal jammers para sa cellphone susbcribers ay nasa pagpapasya na ng Presidential Security Group.

Ang pagtitiyak sa kaligtasan ng SONA ay sa gitna ng kumpirmasyon na isang Filipino ang suicide bomber sa kambal na pagsabog sa Indanan, Sulu noong June 28.
