“Do your homework”

Ito ang naging banat ng Amnesty International laban kay Presidential spokesman Salvador Panelo ukol sa naging pahayag nito na pinupulitika umano ng human rights group ang libu-libong nasawi sa ilalim ng kampanya kontra sa ilegal na droga.

Ayon kay Butch Olano, section director ng Amnesty Philippines, dapat munang basahin ni Panelo ang kanilang report bago magbigay ng pahayag.

Ang pag-aakusa aniya na pinupulitika ng human rights group ang isyu sa umano’y extrajudicial killings ay isang paraan para lituhin sa responsibilidad ng administrasyong Duterte sa problema.

Iginiit pa nila na base sa facts o katotohanan ang kanilang mga inilabas na report ukol sa aniya’y pang-aabuso sa war on drugs.

Matatandaang tinawag ng London-based group ang probinsya ng Bulacan bilang ‘bloodiest killing field’ sa bansa dahil sa tumataas na bilang ng drug-related killings.
