Imbestigasyon sa madugong buy-bust sa Rodriguez, Rizal pinahahawakan na sa PNP-IAS
Inatasan ni PNP chief, General Oscar Albayalde ang Philippine National Police (PNP) – Internal Affairs Service (IAS) na mag-takeover sa imbestigasyon sa madugong buy-bust na naganap sa Rodriguez Rizal.
Ayon kay Albayalde, ang PNP-IAS na ang hahawak sa imbestigasyon para mas mapabilis ang resulta.
Nasawi sa nasabing buy-bust ang dalawang drug suspect, ang 3 taong gulang na si Myca Ulpina na anak ng isa sa mga suspek at ang pulis na si Police Senior Master Sergeant Conrad Cabigao.
Sinabi ni Albayalde na maaring otomatikong magsagawa ng imbestigasyon ang IAS sa mga ganitong insidente.
Bago ilipat sa IAS, ang Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division ng Calabarzon Police ang humahawak sa imbestigasyon.
Aabot sa 20 pulis ang sinibak sa pwesto kabilang ang hepe ng Rodriguez Police dahil sa naturang insidente.
Ipinasailalim din sa ballistic examination ang mga armas ng mga pulis para matukoy kung kaninong bala nagmula ang tumama sa bata.
