Binalaaan ng Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) ang publiko sa pagkain sa shellfish sa ilang lugar sa bansa.
Base sa abiso ng BFAR, positibo sa red tide ang San Pedro Bay sa Western Samar, Lianga Bay sa Surigao del Sur, at coastal waters ng Dauis at Tagbiliran City sa Bohol pati na ang Balite Bay, Mati City sa Davao Oriental.
Ayon sa BFAR, bawal munang kainin ang mga shellfish sa mga nabanggit na lugar.
Dagdag pa nito, lagpas sa regulatory limit ang paralytic shellfish poison ng mga lamang dagat sa naturang lugar.
