Piñol magiging ‘point man’ ni Duterte sa BARMM
Inihayag muli ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang planong ilipat sa Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA) si Agriculture Secretary Manny Piñol.
Sa talumpati sa inagurasyon ng isang rice processing center sa Alangalang, Leyte, Biyernes ng gabi sinabi ng pangulo na kailangan si Piñol para mapabilis ang pag-unlad ng bagong autonomous region sa Mindanao.
Si Piñol anya ang magiging ‘point man’ ng national government sa Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
Ayon kay Duterte nahihirapan siya sa Mindanao dahil mabagal ang usad ng aktibidad ng gobyerno sa nasabing rehiyon.
“I’d like to just also mention that si Secretary Piñol will be leaving the agriculture portfolio. Hirap ako sa Mindanao [I’m having difficulty with Mindanao] because we have created a new political entity there, the BOL or BARMM, for that matter as it is known today. There seems to be a lag na nakikita ko, there’s not much activity in really trying to devolve all — all powers of the national government relevant to the existence of BARMM. They seemed to be… I am not saying that they are not moving. But ever so slow that I would need a point man there in the likes of Secretary Piñol,” ani Duterte.
Ang panibagong pahayag ng pangulo ay tila pagtanggap sa pagbibitiw sa pwesto ni Piñol.
Nauna nang sinabi ni Duterte noong nakaraang linggo na itatalaga ang kalihim sa MinDa.
Sa kanyang talumpati kagabi sinabi ng presidente na mahalaga ang papel ng MinDa para sa kabuuang pag-unlad ng rehiyon ng Mindanao.
Iginiit din ng presidente na nais niya ng kapayapaan sa rehiyon matapos ang ilang taong kaguluhan.
Umaasa anya siya na ang pagbuo sa Bangsamoro region ang solusyon para matamo ang kapayapaan sa Mindanao.
“I like to really seek peace for everybody. I do not want war in Mindanao. It would bring nothing but bleeding human beings. Problem is itong mga traditional revolutionary, it’s only an issue of land and their territories,” ani Duterte.
